After more than 20 years of intensive involvement in quality control across various product sectors, Cargo Handling Mathias Bremer e.K. was founded in 2005. While our early activities covered food, non-food and steel products, our focus has increasingly concentrated on the specific requirements of the international food trade.

Today, we specialize in quality assurance and damage management for food products within complex import and export structures. From canned goods and temperature-controlled cargo to dried fruits and other sensitive commodities, we understand the product-specific characteristics, regulatory requirements and logistical risks that define the food sector.

From the outset, our objective was clear: not merely to inspect quality, but to actively safeguard it at every critical control point within storage, handling and transport operations. As an integral component of comprehensive quality management, Cargo Handling has become a trusted partner for food importers, exporters, logistics providers and insurers who rely on technically sound assessments and swift operational support.
